In 2017, I did a full gut and remodel of my parents home. It was a labor of love and I felt the remodeling crew shared my vision and understood my need to respect and honor my late parents. The results exceeded all of my expectations. There are so many special details that it would be hard to list them all. Please see the pictures and I'm sure you will agree.
In 2022, I again contacted Jason to add a garage and breezeway to my home. We came to learn of Jason Dunaway and his company byway of a referral. We were planning to remodel our outdated master bath, and our initial interaction with Jason not only convinced us to work together, but we began to add a considerable additional amount of projects. It was our confidence that our projects would be managed professionally and the craftmanship was very much aligned to our expectations.
In no small measure, Jason’s core driving principles and who he is made us feel our home would be safe, we would be treated fairly, our project had his full attention, and there was a clear start to finish timeline we could count on.
What was really great about the experience was Jason’s contacts where we could select and choose materials, styles, and options for the final installation. Any project certainly has some unexpected challenges, and Jason had the experience to solve, correct, or influence the successful completion. At no time did we feel we were on our own to figure out how to complete our projects.
In the end, we relied on Jason to design and rebuild our master bath wall-to-wall, a new deck to the new pool area, and a new kitchen floor. He also coordinated a shelter building and fireplace, a retaining wall, and landscaping.
We are so thoroughly happy with the trust we placed in Jason. The stunning and beautiful end result we see everyday is a testament to the success of making our vision come to life.
The Stone Bath
Outstanding Quality
This one was so much fun, bringing Cindy’s vision to life. When we first met with Cindy and her husband, they had a builder grade bathroom that needed a lot of attention. Having served its purpose, it was time to make this an area she was proud of in her home, and not just a functional area. The day we met I could tell that she had some ideas of how she hoped it would turn out, but wasn’t quite sure how to make it all happen. So we spent a lot of time planning the sizes and placement of fixtures, and her overall goals for the space. Then we put her in touch with our professional partners to help with the design portion, where she and the designer worked hand in hand with picking out all the natural stone and the layout of it all. While all this was happening our team got to work on the demo of the current space, and prepping things for all the new plumbing/electrical hookups. At the end of the project it was so rewarding to see how happy she was with the way things turned out, and hearing her say, “It’s better than I ever imagined!”

Specific Needs
Throughout our site and our socials, you’ll see lots of pictures from this house. We’ve been so lucky to work on the entire space multiple times throughout the last few years. We have demolished everything on the inside, starting from the studs and worked it back to life to be something that anyone would want to call home. About a year before the completion of the addition, Paula had reached out to us with an idea to help get her some more space, first floor entry, dreamy breezeway for relaxing (for both her and her cats), to attach to the house in a way that didn’t block the view of her garden from inside the home, but also be able to see through to her brother’s house adjacent to hers. This one took lots of planning both from us and from our architectural engineers, but in the end we made every single thing happen that she wanted. This will forever be one of my favorite projects because so much time has went in to the preparation that it made the outcome look perfect.
